    “So may the outward shows be least themselves; the world is still deceived with ornament.” (Shakespeare)

    We are living through a period where the world has entered so deeply into the heart of man that it is crowding out the spirit of prayer. Prayer is the one thing that enables a person to transcend the superficial, deceptive ornament of this world.

    Our new single… Heart of Prayer… speaks to the truth about man and the profundity of his vocation to prayerful communion with God. For, as Pope Francis pointed out in Evangelii Gaudium (262): “The Church urgently needs the deep breath of prayer.”

    Lyrics

    My soul finds you in the silence;
    My heart…quiet and at rest.
    Your peace quells all vain desire;
    Your love…burns within my breast.

    And the world, as it glitters, goes spinning by.
    People rushing about and never asking why?

    All the things that this world has to offer
    Fall away just like leaves from a withering tree.
    Seek and find everything you need in Jesus;
    Ask him and you will receive.

    Oh Jesus, refuge of my weary soul…
    Take me home.
    I long to live within your heart of prayer…
    Take me there.

    Each day brings a new beginning…
    When God calls us to his love.
    This life passes like a shadow;
    True life is gifted from above.

    And the world, as it glitters, goes spinning by.
    People rushing about and never asking why?

    All the things that this world has to offer
    Fall away just like leaves from a withering tree.
    Seek and find everything you need in Jesus;
    Ask him and you will receive.

    Oh Jesus, refuge of my weary soul…
    Take me home.
    I long to live within your heart of prayer…
    Take me there.

    “Let your light so shine before all, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”

    — Matthew 5:16
